The Jacksons had the Village's first "Quickie" store on the back porch of their house. The porch had been enclosed, and the Village kids would walk there to buy snacks, sodas, gum and all sorts of other things that are just now beginning to affect our shapes! The house is located on Parmenter Street, then Church Street, adjacent the Church.
